STICKS & STONES
Kidscape- Stickers and Stones

Kidscape is a children’s anti-bullying charity.

In November during Anti-Bullying week they asked us to devise a guerrilla campaign to run alongside their TV advert.

The strategy was “You wouldn’t expect it as an adult, so why should a child?”

The budget was very limited, so we created a campaign called ‘Stickers and Stones’

In train stations across London, hidden guerrillas infiltrated the morning and evening rush hour posting ‘Kick Me’ style stickers onto people’s backs which contained playground insults.

The stickers remained undetected until they arrived at work- and looked at the stickers which bore the strap line and Kidscape website.

The idea was to put adults back in the shoes of children and evoke embarrassment or anger to remember what it was like to be bullied- as you wouldn’t put up with it as an adult, so why should a child?
